how to get rid of engine whine and screen noise?

My HU is wired from the original harness and the pc is wired to the battery that is in the boot. The ground is the closest ground point to the battery and the live is on battery. When running the pc i get engine whine in my speakers and i can hear clicks when i tap the screen or the hard drive spins. The audio,usb and vga are run together and the power is only as close as the inputs on the back of the pc. i have tested on a laptop and there is no noise so i know the audio,usb and vga dont have any interference unless they are connected to the voom2. So am i right in thinking the pc is giving out the inteference because it may have a bad ground? Any help is appreciated.

I have had the cid700 wired up for a month without the pc for a month without interference. I presumed the stock harness had the ground going to a grounding point on the chassis aswell.

I tested my laptop on it with the voom powered up at the same time and there was no noise,so im guessing that means the rca,vga and usb are not to close the live wires.
