Vga 7" touch screen i dismantled for integration in the car.
I made build for me a plexiglass bezel.

Now i still have to set in the media center and replace the original cd wechsler with it. I also have to mount the 4 channels amplifier. The loudspeakers will remain original as they give a very good result. If needed i will add a sub woofer. The whole hardware is planned to remain as stealth as possible.

Nothing is visible anymore.
Thanks to Bmw to had thought forward about wires tunnels, a very clever way of building a car, this helps to make a proper mounting of after market components. This is not so surprising after all, German build Wink

I had to jump in the trunk to take those photos as the power amp is no more visible.

Wires are going to use the wire tunnels at the same level as the amp so they will disappear too.

Night Mode now...

When functions are activated, the fonts are highlighted. It would better fit with the interior at night.

Actually having informations about radars, distance, nature of the trap (automated camera, mobile camera, red lights camera), actual speed all this while listening to music or passenger watching video, this avoids me having the boring gps working on roads i know how to drive from one point to another, i.e. when i'm on highway i don't care about gps to give me directions but i would like to have informations about newly set traps.

The distance trigger can be defined
It displays and announces the alert through the voice synthesis, indicating speed and distance as well.

Here's the screenshot of the thing working at home, have to refine a bit more the loop to allow a smooth function but anyway i'm near to the final result.

mmmm forgot to add picture...a bit tired

Here's the thing working in the car, the detection loop is now working smooth as silk Frin

I also added the alerts wherever we are in the program so it allows me to get alerts even if my passengers are watching video. When an alert is raised, i got a ticker message on top of the video and the synthesized voice is announcing the event.
